I have really bad sweaty palms. Sometimes, when I shake peoples' hands, I can see the look in there eyes because my hands are almost soaked. I would say that they are sweaty about 75% of the time. I heard that there was a procedure I can get when the doctor cuts the vein right below my left shoulder to stop the sweating. I saw once on tv. I don't know what's it's called and what doctor to see. Can you help? Any other suggestions?

the procedure is called a sympathectomy, and is permanent. I would make sure there are no other causes that could be treated medically. You may wish to see your doctor specifically for this and with this question.
AnswerUsually a general surgeon, though it is a fairly specialized procedure. I would still start with your family doctor.
I don't know how you would go about finding someone that does this in your area short of calling the local surgeons and asking them. It is a specialized procedure that is relatively uncommonly done, which makes researching it somewhat difficult.
Hope that helps.
