Hyperhidrosis & Peeling Fingertips: Causes, Relief & Treatment
QuestionI have had hyperhidrosis my entire life and for as far back as I can remember whenever there is a change in season EX. ( fall to winter or winter to spring ) my fingertips furn very red and start to peel. Sometimes layers underneth layers peel away on certain fingers. It is very painful, discomforting to see, and seems to make my hyperhidrosis act up even more than usual. I have tried lotions and even anticeptics to try to heal fingertips but nothing works. I have also tried drysol to stop the hyperhidrosis but that doesn't work at all either. What can you reccomend to help heal my peeling fingertips and what can I do to use to get rid of my hyperhidrosis without using things like drysol and surgury.
AnswerHi Brian,
Hyperhidrosis currently has no known cure and treatment is often less than successful.
If you haven't seen a Dermatologist in a while, it might be a good idea as things do change and the latest treatment may not have made it into the mainstream yet.
