Adderall and Diarrhea: Impact on Medication Effectiveness

I take Adderall at 4 hour intervals for narcolepsy. I've had diarrhea all day today. Probably from the mexican food I ate yesterday. Anyway, I had just taken my regularly scheduled dose of Adderall then shortly after had a bout of diarrhea. This sounds like such a stupid question. If I had just taken my medication then approx 15 minutes later had a bout of diarrhea did I lose all the effects of the medication? Is it possible that the dose I took left my body in the diarrhea since I think my stomach emptied on that last bout? Should I take another dose?

the diarrhea you have is coming from your lower intestine, not your stomach, so with immediate release adderal, you will still absorb the medication.  Some slow release once a day medicines may be pushed through the itnestines too fast, but typically not the regular absorbtion pills.....
