Question -
I recently retired and started playing golf almost daily.  After I play, my arm tingles as though it has fallen asleep.  What is the cuase and how can it be treated?
Answer -
Hi Jim,
You need to tell me just where you feel this tingling in order for me to better address your question. If it is any help, even thinking about golf makes my brain tingle:).

Hi: thanks for the reply.  It is a general tingle on the back side of my left arm.  It is not painful and doesn't bother me that much while I golf, but acts up later when my arm is leaning forward while sitting, for example.  Sorry to be so vague, but I do not know how to describe it any better.

Answer
Hi Jim,
Once again, I'll assume that by behind, you mean the area behind ( along the plane of) the elbow. This may be a number of things. It could be nerve irritation from the repeated trauma of swinging the club or even be coming from your heart. I don't want to needlessly concern you, but I think it is a good idea to run this by your healthcare provider.
