Question For awhile now I have been suffering from a very windy tummy....just last week there has been a gastric bug going around and while the gastric only lasted 3 days the windy tummy has remained.....however this windy tummy is a bit different in the respect that it is so very thick that its hard to bring up. It is explosive and it seems to bloat up the tummy and then that then seems to send it up the esophigus into the throat and I feel it fill up the tubes that go into the ear.
My ear then feels like there is a lot of pressure behind the eardrum and that causes a spiky feeling in the throat and ear.....my ears start ringing and buzzing with an electrical feeling...my sinuses are really dried out and this increases the pressured feeling in the ears and a dry feeling in the eyes.
All this started with a virus that was in my eyes a couple of months ago that dried them out so they felt dusty...this feeling has not gone away and it seems to be still there with this gasric bug that Iv'e just had....I cant seem to shake this really dry,dry windy tummy that is making me dryheave every day and putting so much pressure into my ears...the wind is sooooo thick and it makes me feel as though it will choke me it seems to swell my throat and burn throat and tubes to ears and the ears themselves burn ,buzz and ring.
What could be causing this?....will this thick wind choke me?....as it really does feel like it is choking me.Can polyps in the back of nose swell and come down behind the tonsils?...what can I take to ease this thick windy tummy and stop it from affecting my ears this way?....can a gastric virus do this to your tummy?....thank you and any help you can give will be appreciated.

Yes, it can but what you describe is usually gluten enteropathy or gerd. OK?
