Mood Swings, Anger & Low Serotonin: A Doctor's Perspective

Question
Hello Dr.
I am an 52 year old unemployed musician who is experiencing extreme mood swings otherwise, I am in good physical health. I can feel these changes in my personality often. It first feels as if my pulse is going to drown out normal sound. Then I get tense in my hands and I actually feel like physically harming someone in order to release the rage. My blood pressure is a bit high and I am about 25 lbs overweight. I have read that when ceratonin levels are low and testosterone levels are high, this can result in violent behavior. How can I find out what my levels are? I am not taking any perscription drugs.
