Hi! I got an e-mail from you saying you have answered the question already but I mis-spelled my e-mail address the first time I sent it, so I never receieved anything.  That's why i re-sent it saying I typed in my e-mail address wrong.  I would appreciate it if you could please re-send your answer to this e-mail address.  Thanks.

I have this small red patch on my face, below my nose and above my lip that is quite annoying. It's about the width of a pea - it's not a bump but rather a "patch". It's red and the skin is flakey, and it itches from time to time. It's been there for about a month and I'm getting tired of it :) Do you have any ideas of anything I could do to get rid of it? Thanks so much!

Sorry. I received your question but didn't realize the email affected the return.
Dermatology questions are hard to answer without a 'LOOK' at the lesion. The first things that come to mind though, are a fungus or Impetigo.
In as much as it's been there that long, a doctor visit is in order.
