QuestionHi I was looking in to getting into being a pedactritin or family practioner and I was wondering what would be the best college to go to and how should I get a degree in it thank you
AnswerHi,
In general, acceptance into medical school does not matter where you go to college or what your major is. Rather, it is your college GPA and MCAT scores that you will be measured by. The MCAT is particularly important because it is the only standard that all candidates can be compared to each other. Do well on the MCAT, and you will get in.
Having said that, a major in biological sciences puts you at an atvantage to succeed in medical school once you have been addmitted.
Good luck
