Question Hello, you have been helping me the last month or so, I have had some odd symptoms, Dr. thought it might be fibromylagia or MS, I had my MRI today, Nurse called and said it was nothing acute, no tumor or anything like that, but when I asked her about the MS or the fibromylagia she just repeasted the Dr. said it was nothing acute and to keep my follow up in a month and the Dr. would go over it more with me.
Could you tell me what acute would mean? Does that mean that is nothing serious, but could still be MS?

AnswerI don't know what that means... I would hope that if it were anything serious, they would call you in right away, so I suspect there was nothing found on the studies... to lessen your worry, I would suggest you push up the appt to talk about results....
