Lump Under Eye: Causes, Symptoms & When to See a Doctor - NurseAdvice

Over the last three days I have noticed a lump under my right eyebrow. It's quite sore and whatever it is seems to have grow twice the size in the last 12 hours. I can feel the lump under my skin when I touch it and if it grows anymore I dont think I'll beable to see much out of my eye! Anyhelp would be appriciated.

Warm compresses (warm washcloths) to the eye should help.  It sounds like a sebaceous cyst, but since I can't see it (and I'm a nurse, besides) I can't make any sort of diagnostic claims.  Try the warm washcloths, but get to an eye doctor (even the kind that prescribes glasses-optometrist, not technically an MD) because they've seen it all and can prescribe something that will help.
