Low Hormone Levels: Causes, Symptoms & Solutions

Question
I recently went to my doctor because of no libido.  I've never really had one to begin with.  But I've been on anti-anxiety meds since I was probably in my 20's.  Now that I'm in a serious relationship it's causing problems.  We plan on getting married and hopefully having children.  The assistant called me back stating that the results of the blood tests weren't bad but the doctor wanted to  talk to me about possible creams that could help. I plan on talking to my doctor about this next wednesday. Are there other factors that could cause me to have below normal hormone levels other than perimenopause?  When I did research on low testosterone and estrogen perimenopause was mentioned several times.  This scares me because I would like to start having children within the next year.  I've looked at the symptoms of perimenopause and I really don't have any symptoms except decreased libido.  So, just wondering if maybe this was just something I've always had and has nothing to do with my reproductive health.  Thanks!

Answer
This is a difficult problem because there are psychological factors involved, usually and sometimes some hormonal factors.... sometimes supplementing some hormones may help and some of the anti-anxiety meds may make the problem worse.  The serotonin drugs are known to decrease sex drive...    I would purue both of those... the drug effects, a trial of some homrone boosting and maybe talking to a therapist to see if something happened in the past that has affected your sex drive....
