Understanding Headaches: Types, Causes, and What to Expect

I was wondering would you please explain to me:  what is a headache?

headache is a general term describing pain in the head.... a migraine is a specific headache caused by a blood vessel relaxing, opening up and stretching... the stretch of the blood vessel causes nerves in the blood vessel to register pain.  The brain itself doesn't have sensory nerves, but the structures around the brain do and if those sensory nerves are irritated, it can be felt as pain.
