Questionwhy would your spleen be hurting, it does not hurt all time, but when i press under my left ribs it really hurts for awhile what could be some of the reasons.
Answerwell, i realize you are having left upper abdominal pain, but why would you assume it is your spleen? There are other organs in the area... kidney, pancreas, stomach, plus some muscles, etc. I wouldn't limit my evaluation to say what could be wrong with your spleen... normally, those don't hurt unless there has been trauma or you have a mono infection, etc.
If it keeps up, get it checked......
