Thrush Recovery: Understanding Changes in Vaginal Discharge - Expert Advice

hello, i've heard that thrush occurs when you have white discharges and itchiness around ur vagina, i had these symptoms and i heard that a medicine called Difflucan One helps with this problem, however, after taking Difflucan One, even though the itchiness stopped, i started to have reddish discharges. is it supposed to be like that in process of recovery or do I have to cantact my GP?

Dear Nattalie,   A reddish discharge would indicate some type of bleeding....  I would STRONGLY suggest that you see your doctor and get a proper exam with a swabbing to be checked to see EXACTLY what type if infection you are dealing with...

There are more than one type of infection that can cause white discharge and itchiness....
