Post-Implant Recovery: When Will My Period Return?

I recently had the implantion bar removed from my arm. It's been two weeks and I still have not got a period.
I'm just wondering when your cycle should return to normal and how long it takes for the side effects to stop

Dear Georgia,

Once the implant is removed the hormones are gone very quickly, and most women have a normal period within a month. This also means that your body will re-adjust and other side-effects should be gone within a month or so. If you are still having side-effects after 5 or 6 weeks I would recommend talking to your doctor about it.
