Hi my girlfriend is on ortho novum 777 and wondering if when she gets her period on her inactive week if thats a definate indicator that she is not pregnant? Thanks for you time...

No, that's not an indicator of no pregnancy. Some women get pregnant and still have a period maybe the first month and sometimes the 2nd month. I'm sure that you know that any kind of birth control, including pills, do not make it 100% sure that she will not get pregnant. No birth control method is that safe. There is always a chance of pregnancy. I don't know your or her age but is it possible that you might want to consider abstinence from sex for a period of time. Many young people tell me that it is very worrisome to have to consider pregnancy and/or sexually transmitted diseases. So let me know what you think.
