Marina IUD Side Effects: Heavy Bleeding, Pain & Cramps - Expert Advice

Hi! I have been now for the past 17 months on the marina, but lately I have been having alot of heavy bleeding, with lots of blood clots. My breast have been paining ever since I put the IUD in last year march and I always get cramps and have my period when it does come for 2 weeks and that heavy bleeding for the first week. what is wrong with me? what should I do? I do not feel that much pain when I am having sex with my partner but gets heavy cramps afterwards.

Please I ask for your assistance on this because I seriously feel like there is something majorly wrong with me.

You need to get a checkup and/or advice from your doctor. This could be serious. Don't take your health lightly, it's very important.

Bleeding can cause anemia and other dangers to your health. And this could be from symptoms of the mirena or it could be some other reason.
Please contact your physician and get an exam as soon as possible.
