Full Moon and Childbirth: Myth vs. Reality - A Scientific Look

my mate is gonna be a father real soon. My question : is there a real correlation between childbirth and full moon? People here have told me more children get born when there's a full moon. True or false?

Answer
While there is plenty of anecdotal evidence of this myth, no long-term, large scientific study has ever been able to bear it out.  The legend continues because people tend to remember when there ARE lots of births on a full moon, but they forget all the times that there AREN'T.  This distorts their memory and strengthens the myth.
