Persistent Cramping at 36 Weeks: What to Expect?

hele this is a follow up question from earlier. i called my nurse and she told me to take a warm shower drink more fluids and take a extra strength tylonol. i did every thing but the cramping is the same .she also told me the babies' head is descending more in the pelvic area.i am 36wks andmy next doctor's appointment is on friday but when i called back she told me to come in tomorrow. what will most likely happen?

Without knowing your medical history, it would be very difficult for me to say what your medical practitioner will say. I recommend being very forthcoming about it and any other  issues you may having, as well as your activities within the last few days.

As for what will happen, they will most likely do a blood sample and do various other checks (fundal height, blood pressure, etc) to try to diagnose what is happening and whether or not this is normal for you.
