Pregnancy: Understanding Vaginal Discharge & Contractions at 35 Weeks

Hello I'm 35 weeks pregnant and yesterday morning I was having contractions every 11mins apart, some would hurt and some wouldn't. That went on for about two hours and they eventually stopped but later that day about 5 hours later I went to the bathroom and a lot of discharge came out that was kind of yellowish and snotty looking, it wasn't a BIG clump of snotty stuff though....then a little later more came out but this was yellowish with a little bit of snotty stuff and watery white discharge. I had had sex Sunday could this just be his left over stuff (which would be a lot since the first time it happened it was quite a bit of stuff and I've never seen this much come out after sex) or could this be my mucas plug?  I have had contractions since then but nothing painful or regular. Should I call my doctor and let her know?

dont worry about contacting your MD, seriously no one cares about the "mucous plug" if that is even what it is, personally i dont even believe in such a plug..:)
it also could just be discharge from sex..
your fine, just make sure your drinking lots of water and making sure your baby is moving well..
you still have a couple-few weeks left.
