Paternity Concerns: Seeking Guidance After Unplanned Pregnancy

I really dont have the money right now to get a dna test but i had a baby on nov 25 2007 at 39 weeks and am now scared that i told the wrong guy.  i was active with one guy on march 11 and 12 and the week before(2007) but went out of town and was active with a guy on march 18.  my lmp was march 1.  is there anything you can tell me to help my nerves during this dilemma until i can get a dna?  who is her father?  HELP!!

I am very sad to tell you that either man has equal chance of being the father. Because you had sex with them within a week of one another, either man's sperm could have impregnated you. Sperm can stay viable in a woman for up to 5 days and there is no way to pinpoint when you ovulated. Therefore, your encounters were way too close together to tell who the father of your baby is.

I recommend you tell the other man as well that it could be his. The three of you could all pitch in the money to get the test- splitting it three ways will make it much less inexpensive. The sad fact is that the child could be either man's and both of them have the right to know that possibility.
