Plan B & Missed Period: Understanding Changes & Potential Side Effects

I recently took Plan B one step on 2/25/12, my last period was on 2/16/12.   I missed my period in March.  Is this a common side effect?  I took a pregnancy test 2 weeks ago and it was negative.  I've been having light menstrual cramps but no period.  I am 41 years old and have always had regular periods up to this point....

Thanks for your question. Yes, it's not uncommon to have your period altered by taking Plan B. It is a dose of hormones.
