Loestrin FE Side Effects & Heavy Bleeding: What to Do

I am taking lo loestrin fe in hopes of getting my very very heavy irregular periods under control. I had my 3rd child by c-section and had a tubal ligation about 18 months ago. I have been taking this birth control for 4 months now and each month i have started my period the 3rd week, it is significant bleeding and cramping, which comes and goes throughout the rest of the pack of birth control. Any suggestions?

I am so sorry but I just got to your question. I have heard of side effects from birth control pills. I have studied this for many years. Have you talked to your doctor yet about what is happening?
