Question -
I've been charting my cycles for about 5 months, and most of the signs are easy to interpret, but my cervix dosen't always correspond with my temperature and cervical fluid.  For example, I'm on day five, and it's been high, open and soft for three days. Temp and fluid don't point to fertility right now.  Is this normal?  I can't find it addressed in TCOYF, although the book is pretty exhaustive on everything else.

I'm still waiting for my friend to answer this question for you and me.  I sent her the wrong question and it will take a little longer.  Did you find another resource?

That's a good question.  Do you have a local teaching couple in your area that you can call and ask this question?  I'm not an expert on the details of NFP, like your question.  I will contact my own local resource and get back to you.  I'm sure there is an explanation.

If you would like to find out if there are teaching couples in your area who can help you, go on this website:  www.ccli.org and call them.  I'll try to get back to you in a few days if I find out anything different.

Answer
Allison:  I think my friend had to travel to Texas because her father is ill, so she has not been able to get back to me on this situation. As soon as I hear back from her I'll let you know what she says.  But I'm confident that if you call the CCL.org people they will help you, too.  They do phone consultations for questions like yours.
