Medication & Massage: Resources for Massage Therapists

Hi Abby,
Thanks for reading my question. I am new massage therapist and just have a simple question. I am trying to find a way of getting information on different types of medications that clients may be on and should not get a massage.if you happen to know a book or a website I can print off of that would be extremely helpful. thank you for your time.

Hi Vicci,

There are a couple of books that might be helpful--one is the 'Massage Therapist's Guide to Pathology' and the other is the Physician's Desk Reference (for drugs).  Both can be found at Amazon.com, or you could go to one of the massage therapy product sites, such as massagewarehouse.com.
