I had three babies delivered by cesarean section, so I obviously believe that babies can and should be delivered in whatever way preserves their life and the life of the mother.
The birth rate is the number of children women are having and I believe that number is falling. It has fallen below the "replacement" level in many European countries. More people are staying alive and less people are being born. This will cause a problem for the aged when there are no young people to make the country run, working and living and taking care of each other, etc.
There are many "natural" birth control methods but very few of them work with the body and are therefore ineffective. Withdrawal is natural, douching is natural, oral sex is natural. But none of these takes into consideration the fertility cycle or the emotional wellbeing of the people involved.
Natural Family Planning is the most effective (just as effective as the Pill and sterilization). It works with the human body not against it, it is safe, effective, and promotes good health. It does not add artificial hormones to the body to confuse it. It does not cause side effects such as blood clots, cancer and heart disease.
I am against methods that make a person think they can play God. Many women use birth control thinking they are 100% effective and when they get pregnant, they abort. That is playing God and disagreeing with God's plan is no way to go through life.
