Understanding Birth Control Options: IUDs, Tubal Ligation & Family Planning
QuestionI am pregnant with my third child. This is my fifth pregnancy. I have had two miscarriages. I was on the pill for over a year before I got pregnant the first time. I got pregnant then had a miscarriage. I then was able to have two children. I was not on any form of birthcontrol. I got an IUD after my second daughter was born and it worked very effectively. I had it for two years and got pregnant within a few weeks after it was removed. I then had another miscarriage. I am wanting to have a tubal but my husband doesnot believe in permanet BC. I liked the IUD but got pregnant soon after removed and then lost the pregnancy. Please send information to email listed Thank You Amanda
AnswerI don't know what your question is. All birth control methods had side effects. Miscarriage is probably not a result of any of them. That is either your body or the condition of the baby. Previous abortions do have some effect on miscarriage rates and carrying to term. I agree with your husband about permanent birth control.
