Missed Pill & Early Pregnancy Test: What to Do?

hi, i actually have two questions:

1. i had sex, and after, realized that i had missed the previous day's pill. i took it about an hour after i had sex along with the pill for that day. what are the chances that i may be pregnant?

2. when can i take a preganancy test? my period is not expected until next week, but can i take one before that?

Your chances are either 0 or 100.  You either are pregnant or you are not, chances are for statistics or populations, no individuals.  No birth control is 100% but when you don't take it the way it's prescribed you make it even less effective.  Taking the pill after you missed it is probably the only thing to do except wait now.  

Some pregnancy tests can be used before you have missed your period, some only after.  You will have to read the box.
