Loestrin 24Fe and Depression: Understanding the Potential Link

I started taking Loestrin 24Fe a month ago and have not been on birth contril in about 8 years- what are the chances I could have feelings of depression?

Answer
If you read the package insert that comes with the pill from the pharmacy, you will see that depression is a side effect.  So the chances are good that if these feelings are coincidental to starting to take the pill, that there is a cause and effect relationship here.
