Loestrin Side Effects & Experiences: Bleeding & Blood Pressure

I'm 33 and for about 3 years I've been bleeding between periods, sometimes had 2 periods in one month so last year I saw a gyno about it and he put me on loestrin. It never regulated my period, just made it lighter. 2 months into taking it my blood pressure went sky high so I stopped and the bleeding between periods started again. I decided to see a different gyno about it 3 months ago. He put me on a ten day cycle of 5mg progesterone to reset my period. My blood pressure went up again but my period has completely stopped this time. So it's been almost 2 months since my last period. It's nice not to bleed but I'm wondering if this is normal?

In my opinion, this could possibly not be healthy. I wish you could find a doctor who didn't want to put you on medication but instead try to find out the problem. I would advise you to keep searching for that right doctor. I personally just found a doctor this year that is trying to work on a natural approach and not just medications.

I found this doctor from keeping asking friends for a recommendation so why don't you try that? I don't think it is advisable for your blood pressure to go up or not to have a period.
