What to Do If You Took the Wrong Birth Control Pill
QuestionI am currently taking Ortho Tri-Cyclin and I started a knew pack of pills yesterday(Sunday). When I went to take my pill tonight (Monday), I Discovered that my pack was upside down in the case and I had taken a Blue pill last night instead of a white pill. I have already taken the white pill for tonight. Should I just continue taking the pills like normal for the rest of the month?
AnswerHi Erin,
Wow, that's too bad that this happened. I'm not a medical doctor so I suggest that you talk to your physician or whoever prescribed the pills to you. In my opinion, I would continue to take the right pills but like I said, check with a medical professional just to be sure. I don't want to recommend the wrong thing. Also maybe you should use a back up method for a few days. Have you had any other problems with the birth control pill with side effects and how long have you been on this?
