AnswerIt is certainly possible to get pregnant right after taking the Depo Provera shot. It is also probably that it will take several months for your cycles to return and for your body to get back to normal. That is why your doctors disagree with each other. Each woman's body reacts differently to the artificial hormones. Pregnancy tests are generally pretty reliable so I wouldn't reject the use of them from one experience that didn't work out. You may have taken it too soon or used it incorrectly, or gotten a bad one. But, I'd be patient and wait until Friday if you can since the lab test may be a covered expense while the drug store pregnancy test is your expense. Patience is a virtue.
