QuestionHi~
First thank you for the concern i appreciate it.
my problem is my relationship with my girlfriend is getting worse. But i believe the problem is with my gf. She took
Diana -35 contraceptive pills to treat acnes two years ago and had quit for 7 months. The first month of quitting she had her period back but stopped for six months and more until now. During that period i felt she had changed and had bad temper and lost sex drive. She is going to see doctor. However, my question is whether the side effects like libido and mood change will be permanent or how long will they last? They are affecting my life and the relationship seriously and if it continues i think we might breakup for after 5 years.
I have checked a lot of websites, and have found a few stating that libido could be permanent. I 'm worried that the pills might change her permanently to another person.
she also experienced darker thicker hair around mouth and breasts, acnes appeared on the back.
thank you~
AnswerIt can take time for the effects of the pill to go away. In my experience, after a while they will disappear completely depending on the woman; but it can take quite a while. This means also that there may be other reasons for the continuing low libido and other problems. I think the best thing is for her to be under medical care and to keep you up to date on what the doctor is advising her to do. If you want to stay together, the best course is for you to be an understanding and supportive partner.
