Microgestin FE 1.5/30: Period Timing & Breakthrough Bleeding

I just started taking the pill today and was wondering if i will have my period the firs week??? i really dont want it either!

Hi Felicia,

You will have your period during the inactive pill week (4th week.) Some women experience a few days breakthrough bleeding (bleeding during the other weeks)  for the first few months of the pill. This is common and will most likely stop after the first months.
