Mirena & Pregnancy Concerns: Unusual Symptoms & Worries

Hi, I had my daughter Nov 2009, and got my mirena inserted Jan 2010.  Lately I have been feeling weird, heightened sense of smell, and more and more feeling movement!!!   I got my period last month, so I am freaking out.   I made a DR appt, but the lady on the phone seemed to think I was crazy.   I am super emotional and tired....... the movement thing is majorly freaking me out most of all.   I don't want to be embarressed or feel stupid. From everything I've read on the internet you can have symtoms without being preg.   or if you take a preg test it will be neg till you take a blood test?!

Since you got your period last month, pregnancy is unlikely, although not impossible.  However, movement from the fetus doesn't usually start until a woman is 4 months or so, at which time you would usually be able to feel your uterus enlarging.  I think that most likely your symptoms are from something other than pregnancy.  Your doctor will be able to figure it out when you have your appointment.
