QuestionI had mirena placed on June 7, 2011 after my sons birth. On March 27, 2012 it had started to fall out, and it was practically all the way out so I pulled it the rest of the way out. I haven't had any removal bleeding, or even a period. It's been over a month since it fell out and I'm growing concerned about not having a period. I thought I could have been pregnant, but I went to the doctors and had a urine test and a blood test and both came back negative. The last time I had a period was July 2010 (I found out I was pregnant in October 2010, but concieved in August). I also bled after my sons birth, and when the mirena was inserted. Never had a period while on the mirena. So I am really confused! Please help me! Thank you!!!

I don't usually advise for the mirena. But I didn't know that you don't have a period on it. Plesae ask your doctor for more medical advice. When you went to get the pregnancy test, did you ask your doctor about a period. Let me know what happens.
