Missed Birth Control Pill: Risks & What To Do

I'm 17 and have been on the pill since 2009 and have very rarely missed a pill but when I have, I was not sexually active. I am now on the 2nd row of my pill, which should mean I would normally, off the pill, be ovulating right? if I miss one now, what are my chances of getting pregnant?

I'm so sorry that I just now read your question. What did you end up doing? I'm not sure about what kind of pills you take so I'm not sure about what your 2nd row of pills would be. Any time you have sex, you risk pregnancy. Even if you take the pills correctly, there is always a chance of pregnancy. There is no birth control method that is 100% safe in preventing pregnancy. Also, birth control pills don't protect from sexually transmitted diseases. If you do miss a pill, there would just be a slightly more chance of pregnancy. Please consider another birth control method, unless you don't really need to be on birth control at all.
