Possible Pregnancy After Abortion: What to Do

I am 16 years old and i had an abortion on September 8 and i had sex on October 6 and now its 3 weeks later and i still haven't gotten my period could i be pregnant?

More than likely, this is normal.  Sometimes the period is delayed for 4-8 weeks after a procedure.  However, it is possible that you could have gotten pregnant again.  The best thing to do is to check a pregnancy test.  If it is positive, it does not necessarily mean you have a new pregnancy; you can still have a positive test from September 8.  If it is positive, repeat it in one week, and see if the line is getting lighter or darker. Or, you can go back to where you had the procedure and they will do an ultrasound and blood tests.
