Post-Abortion Bleeding & Period Irregularities: What to Expect

I had an abortion last month. When my menstrual cycle was due the next month, i could just see spottings with slight cramps in my leg. Is it normal? i had protected sex with my hubby. From when would i have regular periods? Looking forward for a genuine reply.
