Persistent Bleeding & Clots After Abortion: Understanding Potential Causes

HI,
My wife had an abortion by taking a drug called cytotec. Now she has been bleeding for a week now with some clots in the blood. Her doctor has carried out blood samples which returned positive for pregnancy. various scan including cervical scan has revealed nothing in the womb. what could be wrong. The bleeding stoped 2days ago but returned with some clot dropping.please advice

Your wife's doctor should know that the pregtest stays positive for about 3 weeks after the abortion.
Bleeding patterns tend to stay unpredictable and irregular fro some weeks.
If your wife does not feel week, and eats enough meat and vegetables she
just needs patience. Bloodcloths are also normal. The whomb is cleaning itself. No worry whatsoever.
