Plan B After Surgical Abortion: Risks & Effectiveness

I had an abortion a little over two weeks ago. The procedure was traumatic since i chose to be awake for it, but necessary. Almost three days ago i had sex again with my boyfriend for the first time after the procedure and the condom completely broke. What are the HEALTH risks of taking plan B after a surgical abortion? Is it even possible to get pregnant this soon after surgical abortion?

This is such a common question.  Take the Plan B as soon as possible.  There is always the risk of ovulating within 2 days of the procedure.  Some places advise not having sex for 2 weeks even with condoms.  We say after 2 days but with caution.  There is the risk of more bleeding and cramping.
