Hello Abby
I am  54 and have been going for a massage for a long time now years.   Some good some not so good with their massages.    It does help and  enjoy it too   I now have found a good spa with real nice young women working there. All
do a good massage too.   I usally go every two months just to keep my muscles in check.
How ever I found a real fancy but expensive spa  I would like to try once in awhile   The question is I would like to try a 4 hands massage which uses two girls .  or would this be sort of be hard on the patient if I get my usall deep tissue massage.    I am single   also so don't have to worry about what a wife would think or a serious girlfriend would think.     The spas are all real clean and licenced  and so are the women working there.   I have noticed how ever my back does get quite red during a massage is this normal?
I am not  big built but could be a little heaver
and have high blood pressure . Does massage help with blood pressure?

Hi Johnny.  I believe we've spoken before?  I'm glad you enjoy your massage therapy treatments.  I doubt that the 4 hand massage would be any more difficult on you than your normal massage, but that is just from what I've heard, not from personal experience.  I don't see why, even if you were married or had a girlfriend, they would think anything wrong with what you're doing as long as you're seeing legitimate massage therapists for non-sexual touch.  A lot of people, expecially if you are exceptionally fair skinned, will have reddened skin during and possibly immediately following massage, but it shouldn't last very long.  If you have high blood pressure, you should see your physician about it before receiving further massages, to make sure it is under control.  If you've already seen your physician and/or are already on HTN meds, then it's probably okay, but definately make sure to see your doc before continuing, if you haven't already.  There have been research studies regarding massage's positive effect, reducing HTN but that is in general, not for someone with HTN that needs to be controlled.  Again, I would think you'd need to see your doc before continuing.

 Hello Abby
Yes we talked before and thanks again

Yes My blood pressure is under control with pills. I
have been under treatment for over 24 years now.  I will need to treat it the rest of my life.       And yes the massages are all for non sexual treatments  all clean and neat.    Again it helps with lonelyness and depression.    But wish I had a nice girlfriend who don't drink or smoke
even in her 30's would be great.   I have no idea where to look for one
Seems they only care about money and The best looking ones and the best jobs
I however have been working in a small shop for 29 years now which pays ok.
should I STILL CHECK WITH MY dOCTOR ABOUT BLOOD PRESSURE?  I am not bad looking but sort of thin

Answer
Hi Johnny,

I'm glad to have answered your questions regarding massage therapy. Since you have a doctor who has been helping you control your blood pressure, then you're probably fine, but of course if you WANT to ask him about how massage might affect your blood pressure, that is your choice.  As far as a massage therapist might be concerned, from what you've told me, there should be no problem.
