can you give a foot and leg massage during a pedicure with a  person who takes blood thinners

Hello Sherri,

If a client is taking blood thinners, a gentle or light massage is fine. A deep tissue massage is contraindicated and may cause bruising. If you are uncomfortable following through with the massage, you may want to ask for a physician's release form or talk to the owner.
