Testicular Discomfort Relief: Exploring Massage Techniques & When to See a Doctor

Question
Because my current job requires most of the day at a desk, I find I am experiencing more testicular discomfort. I do get up and walk around once in a while but sitting so long is becomming more uncomfortable.  I've read (and see more articles now) on the subject of testicular massage. would this help if incorporated into a regular massage ?

thanx,

Answer
Thanks for your question, V.

My first recommendation BEFORE testicular massage is to consult with your doctor to learn why you are having this discomfort.  Is there something anatomically wrong? Are you sitting at work improperly?  Are you wearing too tight or confining underwear or outer pants?  When was the last physical exam where the physician actually examined you for abnormalties in the area?

Unless the person, other than yourself, who you are desiring to do this testicular massage is unethical or unprofessional as a massage therapist, I would be willing to bet that most licensed massage therapists will NOT include testicular massage in a regular session as they would risk their license for your relief.  If you want it bad enough, I suggest you learn to do it yourself to yourself.

Hope that helps.
