Understanding Nail Discoloration: Causes & Solutions

This might be too vague but I've been having problems with a clients nails who are picking up color and turning greyish.  I've seen this type of thing with color transfer from newspapers but this client isn't in contact with anything she can think of (new jeans, leather jacket/purse, tanning lotions) that would have color transfer.  I use this top coat on the majority of my clients and no one else is having this problem.  Can you think of any other causes of color transfer?

hmmm.. I am not sure why her nails are changing a greenish color. The only thing I can think of might be due to a mold or bacteria growth on her nails. However if she is a natural nail client I dont know how that would be possible. That is more of a problem with acrylic or gel clients. I would have her check with her doctor.
