QuestionQUESTION: Prom is coming up in about 2 weeks and i was wondering if you had any tips for what sorts of make up to use. My dress is long and black and has some silver beads and sequins. My skin is light/medium and i have dark brown hair and brown eyes. Also, i was wondering if you knew anything about lip stains and weather or not they would be a good thing to try. thanks so much for your help!

Prom is an exciting event. It can be your night to shine :)
Your dress sounds pretty so let's get your skin ready for makeup :)
Start by eating well for the next 2 weeks. Sometimes a little bit of stress or excitement can cause flare ups/blemishes so drink 6-8 glasses of water so your skin looks hydrated and smooth. Try to limit salt and sugar also. I know it can be tough but your skin will look amazing :)
Practice a few days before prom on your look.
Use a good moisturizer and apply foundation.
To make your pretty brown eyes pop use brown eyeliner and mascara. Use a gold shimmer in the corners of your eyes to really open them up
Apply a pink tone blush.
You asked about lip stains. They are one of my favorites to use for lips and they provide hours of a pretty smudge proof look.
I'm not sure if you have a Sephora in your area, but you could try this sensational color

QUESTION: hi elane thanks for your answer. I was just wondering if you knew of any products that clear up acne quckly. i have some on my forhead and i feel like it just won't clear up. i also have a few on my back and since my the back of my dress is open id like to get thoes cleared up as well. I've tried a salic acid spot treatment but that doesn't seem to work for me. any products you know of would work well?
