QuestionHello,
I have a noticeable amount of facial hair. It is mostly noticeable on my cheeks which sometimes look fuzzy perhaps because my hair is so dark. I have heard of Hair Off that removes hair upon swiping your face or body. I was wondering how safe this is to use on my face and cheeks and nose? I use an electric stick hair remover now and it seems as though it leaves the hair follicles irritated and ingrown on my face to wear my pores look enlarged and it almost resembles acne. Would Hair Off be a better solution? And is it safe to remove the hair on your cheeks and face?
Thank you for your time.
AnswerHello Ally
I have used the Hair Off product before and wouldn't recommend it for your face as it's quite abrasive.
instead, I would recommend you to either see a professional esthetician for a special facial waxing. If you don't want to do that, I would recommend to continue using the electric hair remover but in a different way. Use a mild anti-bacterial solution before and after removing your facial hairs. Something like Lavender floral water or a great dilution of Lavender and Tea Tree essential oils in distilled water would be good (a few drops only in a quart). Then, after removing the hair, apply a facial mask with White Clay mixed with the essential oils water for 5-10 min without letting the mask dry up. Then rinse with water and apply a good natural moisturizer, or better, jojoba oil:

This should prevent the irritation of the follicles and ingrown hairs, as well as cleanse your skin and soothe it.
