“Sometimes you meet someone, and it’s so clear that the two of you, on some level belong together. As lovers, or friends, or as family, or as something entirely different.
You just work… whether you understand one another or you’re in love or you’re partners in crime.
You meet these people throughout your life, out of nowhere, under the strangest circumstances, AND THEY HELP YOU FEEL ALIVE.
I don’t know if that makes me believe in coincidence, or fate, or sheer blind luck, but it definitely makes me believe in something.”

I’m writing this post completely inspired to the core to give the BEST representation that my little being can muster up of my gorgeous friend, and now guardian angel…
I think I was blessed with a season with Mallory where I learned about life, friendship, strength, love, and of course STYLE. I don’t want this post to be sad- even though I mis her everyday, or just about loosing Mallory…
I want it to be about me and my girl gang that Mallory was and is the GLUE to, I want it to be about her effortless style that inspires pretty much my entire WARDROBE, I want it to be about our mutual love for Valentino and junk food, and most importantly I want it to be about how much my daily life is inspired by everything Mallory was.
So take a look at some effortless street style that me and my gals put together that I am pretty sure Mallory would approve of 😉

Alena of ModaPrints rocking the STATEMENT Mallory METALLIC Midi

Carolina of Chicktalkch strutting the edgy staples Mallory wore perfectly and of course the best dainty gold jewelry pieces.

Amber of Every Once In A Style rocking a arm party, (which Mallory was QUEEN of) and a midi skirt matched up with a classic but edgy bootie!

In true Mallory fashion, I rocked my Valentino,my favorite over the knee boots, and a few pieces that were actually from her closet. This denim jacket and her white bell sleeve dress that I could wear over and over and over and not get sick of them.

Our goal with this shoot was to style looks that were, “SO MALLORY” the type that looked effortless, classic, chic, and totally on trend. I thought it may help to put together a little list of guidelines that I believe my gal, Mal lived by and probably told me a million times when we were shopping online or in store together 🙂
-Find The PERFECT legging and don’t be afraid to RE-WEAR
– Dirty Hair is MORE than okay, heck- we prefer it!
-When in doubt add a denim or leather jacket over your shoulders
-Oversized sunnies and a chic bag do WONDERS to a basic look
-Choose comfortable and soft material basics
-Invest in an over the knee boot and a good block heel bootie- they go with EVERYTHING
-IF your hair is a little TOO dirty, opt for the messy topknot or a GOOD HAT!
-Dainty Jewelry and Arm Parties are a MUST
-Ain’t no thang a spray tan can’t fix
-Every girl needs a BOMB midi skirt

This post was inspired because of how often us girls say things like, “that is so Mallory” and we wanted to put something together to show just how inspired by her we still are everyday.
I think everyone can learn a thing or two from this little fashionista…
Add a little edge to your basics, smile when life gets tough, make your family and friends really FEEL your love, rock over the knee boots as much as you can, allow yourself to be vulnerable, It’s okay to LOVE your purses, and ALWAYS BE UNAPOLOGETICALLY YOU.

I don’t think I can even explain how much this post, and this photo shoot… and heck the outfit I wore means to me, because it reminds me of my little angel, Mallory. I hope you all enjoyed it and got inspired to create a look that is effortless, timeless, chic, a little edgy, and well
SO MALLORY…
