VITAMINS:

Deficiency of vitamin A can lead to problems with absorbing and processing proteins from food stuff that you take in. Foods rich in vitamin A are liver, eggs, red, yellow and orange fruits and vegetables, and many dark green, leafy vegetables

Deficiency of Vitamin C can cause hangnails. You should try eating more of citrus fruits and berries for Vitamin C deficiency.

Pumpkins and carrots or their juice plus green leafy vegetables like beans (blanched and partly boiled ), lentils, sweet potatoes, all are rich in Vitamin A and B.

Low levels of Vitamin D can cause inefficient absorption of calcium from foods rich in calcium like milk, cheese, butter,  etc. You may also purchase Vitamin D3 in a liquid form, add a few drops to the water and take as a supplement each day.Vitamin D works in tandem with calcium and it’s deficiency can lead to dry and brittle nails.
