Autumn or fall symbolizes the change of the season, from summer to winter. Apart from the weather, this change is noticeably seen in the leaves of the trees, as they start to lose their bright green colours and move towards yellow, orange, red, brown and gold. Autumn signifies the harvest season as it is a prime time for growing crops and vegetables. It also brings Halloween with it.
Here is a autumn nail art capturing different leaves and their shades in this season. It is simple and easy for anyone to try.
Let’s begin with autumn nail art designs
Paint your nails with 2 coats of a bronze nail polish (Avon Glitter Gold). Preferably opt for a metallic shade. I chose this shade because it looks like similar to the bronze color in spite of being named gold.
Using a thin brush dipped in the black nail polish, paint 2 leaves on the index and the ring finger, a maple leaf on the middle and little finger as shown in the picture. I have drawn the veins first, but you can wait till the next step and then draw them. If using a paint brush scares you, try looking out for a two way nail art pen and striper polishes. In that way, you have two options to work with. Try out the one you are most comfortable with after some practice.
With the same brush, fill the leaves with the gold polish, again preferably metallic. For an extra dose of glitter, use a glitter powder or a polish to fill up the leaves. Seal it with a topcoat. And you’re all done.
Check out this image which I clicked using the flash. This is just to show you how beautiful the design looks with metallic colours in the light. Doesn’t it look so realistic?? You can use creme colours such as orange, red and brown if you like. You could do a gradient with these colours as a background and then paint the leaves with black. Try it out for this fall and let your nails do all the talking.
